August

*9th (Thursday)-Jason and I went to the temple to do sealings today for my granny, great grand parents and great great grandparents. It was a very beautiful experience for the both of us.  Nanea was watched by Aunty Cheka and Uncle Maki.
*10th (Friday) We went on a movie date night here in La'ie to watch The Bourne Legacy.  I enjoyed it while Jason has some mixed reviews. Nanea stayed home with the Hohaia's and Munton's.
*11th (Saturday) Celebrated Aaria Stella Ale's 1st birthday with her here at the TVA Pavilion.  It's funny how there is quite a population of Temple View peeps here: DeCaire's (2 families), Fruean's, Jana, and us. Aaria is so cute!
Beautiful Ale 'Ohana
After the party was over these 3 wanted to hang out
The only photo we've got of them 2 together
She was fascinated with these balloons all day
Daddy...being daddy
Balloon toss
Beautiful birthday girl
She thought it was her birthday present...and had too much lolly pops and juice and .etc.
*18th (Saturday) I took Nanea for a hike with our previous 1st Ward Relief Society, while Jason worked.  We hiked Hau'ula Loop Trail and we loved it.  I carried her in the baby carrier. We jumped in the water at Uncle Hyran's to cool down after and met up with daddy for a save ice after at the Kaka's.
*20th (Monday) I'm back in school.  It's my last semester, finally! My schedule is quite forgiving, although I'm taking 15 credits.  I have every Friday off!  I received both Kua'ana and Kamehameha Scholarships in addition to NHSEMP scholarship which takes care of my books!
*25th (Saturday) Jason and Jomaia helped 2 Rugby Stars from NZ with stand-up paddle boarding lessons, which Jason doesn't even do, for Maori TV. Nanea was so sick she couldn't be bothered with all the hype.
*29th (Wednesday) 8am We went to the temple to do Initiatories while our neighbor Sina looked after Nanea for us. Pregnancy makes it hard for me to do sessions so we'll continue to do initiatories and sealings for the time being.

Happy 30th Birthday

Today was Jason's 30's Birthday in New Zealand. Since I've started school and will be gone all day tomorrow, we decided to go to Kahuku Grill for dinner. It was a toss up between there and Surfin' taco's so we literally let the penny decide.
We invited cousins and friends to end the night with cake (made by Cheka) and ice cream.
I also managed to surprise Jase with an iphone 4 he's been wanting for ages.  He has been so patient with the free phone from a sister in the 1st Ward we used to be in that does some weird things.  He's so happy and can now do lots of things like watch movies, listen to music, play angry birds, take pictures and movies of Nanea, etc.
Everyone in NZ called to sing their renditions of Happy Birthday.

Maui Day 4

*Today we slept in and enjoyed our beautiful room until we had to check out at 9:30am. Then we hit the pools. Jason played under the water falls, on the slide and with Nanea in the baby pool section. That thing is so cool.

*We ate some left overs and lunchables for snack and lunch, then headed to our last stop, Honolua Bay, just a 10 minute drive from the hotel.
*Then, back to the airport stopping off at Costco to fill up on gas. We tried getting on an earlier flight back home to Honolulu. And to our luck, we got on the 1:38pm flight! Much better than our travel here.

*This was an awesome trip, but we are exhausted from it. Much mahalo's tot he Spencer's, Jason's friend and Aunty Keao for the buddy passes!

Maui Day 3

*Nanea and I took our time waking up this morning while daddy walked the hotel grounds and made a run to Safeway for breakfast.  We played some games, jumped in the water and daddy had a blast making bombs in the pool. There was a live rat at the shower...yuck!
*We went to Kihei. While there we met up with my friend, Trent Kyono. I went to Pepperdine with him and we studied the same things until he decided to change majors to computer science. We caught up a little at McDonalds and then headed to Big Beach, where Jason wanted to see.
* we drove until the end of the road to see a little more of Maui.

* Jason's friend, Wade, hooked us up with an ocean view room the Marriott in Ka'anapali. We settled in with jumping in the pools and the grabbed some dinner in Lahaina at Panda Express. Sorry but I went a little crazy with the pix. There are so many that I like so I put them all!

I don't want to go!
