Peterson Henry Ekela “Uncle Pete” Burke, 73, of Mililani, an employee at Schofield Barracks and an Army veteran, died in Aiea. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Yong Pun; sons Henry, Ronin and Reuben; daughter Heidi; sisters Henrietta Lyman and Valerie Crabbe; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m.

Today we attended the funeral of my mother's half-brother, Peterson Burke. This was our first time meeting his family. He was a pure Hawaiian from Niihau and attended Punahou School.
Yeay!!! I did it...got back in! Sooo nice to catch up with all your news even though it's been a few months. It's cool to see all that you have been doing and the pictures say it all. You do such a wonderful job of recording your activities. THank you so much...love it all! Love to all, Grandma MWAH!!!
