*4th (Wednesday) This year we spent the morning with the DeCaires' at Castles in the morning. 

 Then Vegas cousins came over and we watched the fireworks at Turtle Bay.  It poured when we got there and while walking to the Resort, the fireworks show started.  So, we just stopped and watched from a random driveway.

*14th (Saturday) Nanea and I went to the funeral of my high school teammates mother, Rene Ululani Nihipali.

*23rd-Hanging out with Uncle Mahi, Aunty Uila and cousin's at Ala Moana beach for their last day in Hawaii.

 *27th (Friday)-The London Olympics started. We've been addicted to watching the games. Any sport that we can watch, we do. I've been hooked on watching the VB both indoor and out. I was a little depressed when I first watched the indoor Women's VB USA team playing because prior to meeting Jason I had my heart set on playing for them. I guess GOD had a bigger and better plan for us.

*28th and 29th (Saturday and Sunday) We celebrated cousin Hanalei's 2nd birthday with her at Ala Moana Beach on Saturday and at her house on Sunday. Aunty Cheka came along and the kids enjoyed playing with her baby bump.  The kids loved playing pass the parcel.

 

*31st (Tuesday)-Jason and I went to the temple to do initiatories while Nanea stayed with Aunty Cheka.
