Cousin's over again!

The girls wanted to stay over one last time before they head back home to Vegas so here's what we did.

*July 19th (Thursday)-Jason and I went to the 8am temple session while Nanea stayed with Aunty Cheka and Uncle Maki.  The girls arrived when we got home, but Moana wasn't feeling well, so we stayed home and ended up taking the girls to the PCC Night Show.

Jason brought home another tv from a TVA dumpster just in time to entertain the girls since our last one wouldn't turn on.  I that my husband is low maintenance like me.

*July 20th (Friday)-We went to Sea Life Park all day.  Nanea was afraid of the Dolphins so I had to hold her, but the girls loved it. We watched all of the shows, played on the play ground and ate lots of snacks that we brought with us. On the way home we stopped for some ice cream cones at McDonalds.  We made it back home just in time for Te Hokioi dinner and practice at the Maori Village and backstage in front of the mirrors.

I got the girls ready first by doing their hair.

*July 21st (Saturday)

Jason left this morning for the Big Island for QLCC.  The girls slept over again so that we could all go to Tanner's Mickey Mouse beach birthday party. We had so much fun. There was a blow up castle, balloons, beach, friends and good food.  We spent the entire day there and were wasted when we got home. But since Jason's gone, I took Nanea for a run on the bike path.  She slept while I sweat.

Nanea 16 Months

Nanea:

*likes to eat more fruit like apples, pears and watermelon.

*sleeps very well in her own room.  When she wakes up, she says mum while turning her room light on and off.

*absolutely loves when daddy comes home.  She screams and then dances until he picks her up for hugs and kisses.  She recognizes when his truck comes home.

*has spent a lot of time with her Vegas cousins.  She plays so well with them.

*started picking her nose.

*helps throw her diapers away. 

*likes to play on the rocking horse under the stairs.

*helps mommy put away her clothes in her drawers. 

*understands so much like what to do when to sit in her chair to eat, when to pray, how to pray crossing her arms, going to take a bath, going outside, etc.

Nanea climbs up and down chairs and screams when she doesn't want to get down by herself.

*she loves playing with her DeCaires Cousins and yells out to them across the street.

*loves skyping with all of 'ohana around the world.

Uncle Maihi and Aunty Raiha

They are here in town visiting their sister Mona Jane who attends BYUH.  He stayed over with us for 2 weeks and she stayed with Mona.  They did a bunch of stuff while they were here and we even joined in on some of the activities: beach time, hiking La'ie Falls, breakfast at Hukilau Cafe and lunch at Leilei's.
