The Daniels were in town this month and the girls had so much fun with them while Aunty Keao worked. We did things like going to the beach, eating outside (so that I didn't have to clean up after them as much), baths, playground time, and other fun, free and simple things to keep them entertained and me not as exhausted.
- 3rd (Tuesday) Aunty Kris, Aunty Chantel, Aunty Tash and Sister Panui came to visit!!! It was so fun hanging out with them even though they didn't stay with us this time, since the Panui's actually came for the PCC 50th Reunion. They stayed in Waikiki which worked out well since we're in school now at UH. We spent every moment we could with them, even though Jason had to work, since it was such a treat for us to have all of them there. Nanea kept asking to hang out with them so she even enjoyed a sleep over with them. Before I used to be very hesitant letting her go, but now with 2 it was a VERY rare occasion to just have some time with Hali'a. Plus, we knew that she was very carefully looked after with the aunties! As usual we were spoiled with lots of food from NZ including sausage rolls and pies, noodles, chippies and wheat bix. Some of the things we did with them included:
- Karaoke with cousin's: La, Bronson, and Aaron.
- Lunch at the Ala Moana food court
- Dinner at Surf-n-taco (Kris's fave)
- Sent them home with Ted's Bakery pies

- 10th (Tuesday) Kris and them left, and Jason spent some quality time with Uncle Taunoa taking him around shopping. He came for the reunion too so we saw him almost daily at Uncle Hyran's.
- 13th (Friday) Went to temple together to do initiatories while the Johanson's watched the girls for us. Jason started his practicum (SW 690 class) at the day center for Bobby Benson. He will have to complete a total of 225 hours this semester there. We're happy that he can do so conveniently close to home.
- 14th (Saturday) Enjoyed our neighbor Kelea Ah Quin's first birthday party with her at TVA pavillion. Later that evening we met up with Uncle Hawea Smith and his friends to eat at the Ali'i Lu'au. It's so nice living here because we get to spent happy, quality time with so many family friends from all over.
- 17th (Tuesday) Started attending the 7pm institute class with the girls while Jason is in class. It's great being in that environment. We're learning about the living prophets and apostles. Attending allows us to have free and convenient parking and a place for us to hang out. We also usually spend down time visiting the DeCaires'. Nanea loves Hanalei and Hali'a loves Mawake. We've been in school for a while and have made the great adjustment to traveling as a family into town and going to school. Jason watches the girls while I'm in class from 12 to 4:15 and theN we switch and while he's in class we go and visit the DeCaires family. It's been good as we have been able to spend more quality time and enjoy the company of our daughters while nurturing our relationship learn more interesting information in relation to our professions. I have also enjoyed attending institute with the girls Tuesday nights. We particularly love our new sushi find at Safeway thanks to our food stamp!
- 20th (Friday) Did my visit teaching with the girls and my companions. We visit: Annie Baranaba, Mary Truscott, and Gloria Smead.
- 22nd (Sunday) Had a special Stake Conference with Elder Soares of the 70 at the CAC. Then spent the rest of the day with the Kaka's.
- 23rd (Monday) After much hesitation, I managed to work up the courage to ask for a little more financial assistance from Kua'ana Scholarship. At the request was granted! Such a huge blessing! They had extra funds so, were able to allocate a little more for us. Started tutoring Chevaria Kaka who needs help with her Algebra. Nanea came down with the tummy bug and was spewing and fevering. Jason got her a balloon to cheer her up and we also celebrated cousin Brooklyn's 3rd birthday!

- 25th and 28th (Wednesday and Friday) Spent time with Jazz Nelson and baby who came for holiday. We ran, hung out with Sanoe DeCaires, got some smoothies, went shopping for shoes at Sports Authority and at Ross'. Meanwhile, Jason spent time with his friend Brooke Sadler taking him and his wife around the island.

- 28th and 29th (Friday and Saturday) I got sick too. So we were pretty much in doors all day.
