Hali'a:
- Can move a lot more. Gets up on all fours like a star push-up, pushes back and forth on her knees, then plops down. She's got kind of an army crawl.
- is more attached to mommy now and doesn't particularly like to be put down. She recognizes everyone more so it's really cool to see her face brighten up when Jason comes home from work and starts talking to her.
- is a very big girl, but believe it or not, her rolls are slowly going away now that she's more active.
- Started eating baby food in an effort for others to feed her since we will be starting school again. She doesn't really like it. Nanea end up eating most if not all of the rice cereal, but hopefully she will take to it soon.
- absolutely loves the water whether in the bath or at the beach or playing in the sink. She also likes and knows what water bottles are.
- is very playful when she wakes up. She can spend a good amount of time in her crib, but usually turns right over and looks at up through the side until one of us (mommy most of the time) gets up and talks to her.
- absolutely loves when people lay down next to her. When people are on the same level as her, she is most comfortable, which is why we mostly sit on the ground now.
- is an early bird waking up between 5:30am and 6:30am
- takes a solid 3 naps at 9is (1 hour), 12ish (2-3hours) and 6ish (30min-1hr)
- was able to travel to Los Angeles with me this month. She traveled really well.
- puts up a fight more now when being placed in her carseat
Nanea:
- continues to surprise us daily. She's growing up right in front of our eyes so quickly.
- can communicate very well (sometimes too well when she doesn't want to do something).
- has spent a bit more time in time out with occasional spanks because she is not listening and responding, but most of the time she is quite easy.
- loves to help Hali'a in any way she can by talking with her, playing with her...
- absolutely loves going to Nursery and is very good there. She waits all Sacrament asking to go there.
- is getting better at holding her pee or poop when we go somewhere and the toilet is not immediately available.
- has enjoyed having her Hawaiian cousins around although they often fought for things.
- likes to go running with mommy, sit on the top of the double stroller and get out to run on the bike path too.
- thinks she can swim on her own. She has discovered tutu's pool and loves being able to see in non-salty water.
