- Can now hold her feet, roll over on her rights side. She also moves towards things by rocking or pushing off of the ground. She's very content with her tummy time.
- She recognizes Jason and me more and when I leave her sight.
- She talks more, babbles and even expresses the way she feels with the tone of her voice like smiling and giggling when happy and grunting when angry or mad.
- She is very playful and is happy to be a little more mobile.
- Will go to anyone as long as she's not hungry or tired.
- Absolutely loves the water. Since we've been spending a lot of time at the beach, she's gotten used to the salt water and feeling the sand. She also loves splashing the water with her hands.
- Has a pretty normal routine: 6am wake-up and eat, 9am 1st nap, noon 2nd nap, 6ish 3rd nap and 8-9pm sleep for the night. Sometimes she wakes up for a 3 am feed, but most often not.

- Can select pictures involving action words and understands many actions verbs, matches shapes (circles, squares and triangles), points to more than 7 pictures of familiar objects/people, produces the p, b, m, k, g, w,h, n, t and d sounds clearly. She can also place shapes in peg boards.
- Is even more brave in the water especially at Ala Moana with the blow-up tube.
- Enjoys playing with all of her cousins.
- Is pretty much fully potty trained. She's so cute in her panties.
- Is often very hot so spends most of the day in her panties while Hali'a is in her diaper.
- She's very helpful with Hali'a and is always concerned about her like a big sister.
- Likes to do everything by herself.
- likes getting her hair done-tied or braided at sits on her Dora chair patiently.
- Likes to brush her teeth and floss.
- Says things like: "That's enough" when pulling toilet paper after using the toilet, "I'm pau", "Hurry up" to mommy and daddy,

It's true that it gets more difficult to lose the baby weight after the 1st child. This month has been difficult with family in town because I haven't been on my normal semi-daily run on the bike path, but I have been running with Uila once in a while around Ala Moana, a good 2K.
