Baby #3

February 3, 2014
Went to Dr. an received confirmation of our 4th pregnancy. Found out that our due date is on August 23, 2014!  This was definitely an unexpected turn of events considering I was taking birth control pills, but as Jason says, it's not my plan, but "the Lord's plan"
Here are the ultrasound pictures:

4 months (17 weeks dr,appointment)
Weight: 143 pounds
The sickness still continues. Getting even more tired. It's pretty much impossible to stay up during nap time to do homework which is why I'm behind on class work. Clothes are staring to get alittle tight by the button. I've figured out that pretty much everything makes me vomit, especially rice, red sauce, and ,any other things. I did however find that in most cases, sandwiches are good, especially tuna, but I'm not supposed to eat that too much so that sucks.  I've gotten so desperate to find food to eat that I just eat anything knowing that it'll probably come back out. Believe it or now, I love the 7 brothers paniolo burger, but that is very expensive so I've made my own cheese burger which has served just if e.  I can also eat. Pbj sandwiches but it's getting kind of old.

Jason took off of work because we went to the Ko'olau Health Clinic to find out what we were going to have.  Well the paper work didn't go through so they didn't let us know that all of the appointments were rescheduled to Wednesday and ours was cancelled. We were pissed and very disappointed to say the least.

5 Months (20 Weeks)
Weight: 147 pounds
Went to Castle Hospital to get an ultrasound. This was interesting going into the room with a not so warm technician. She said it would take about an hour so if they can't handle then probably best to not have them inside.  Well, I put Hali'a on the bed with me and Nanea came on a little later. They were awesome and baby was very photogenic so it went by quickly.  We found out that this baby is a BOY! It was a complete shocker to me.  My pregnancy has been very similar to the Naena and Hali'a's so we just assumed that there was a girl on the way.  We are excited, I already started going through all of the girls clothes to get rid of with some exceptions.  I didn't know if Nanea understood, but she does.  She said, "That's my brother." Ultrasound actually says I am 19 weeks and 2 days.

April 16, 2014
(21 weeks, 4 days)
Weight: 148.8 pounds
Total Weight Gain: 13.8 pounds
Good and normal check up. Still sick from baby, but he's growing healthily

6months (24 weeks)
This month, with Hali'a being sick caused me to get sick.  This time around, however, I was able to take some medication approved by my Dr.'s, Tylenol Sinus-decongestion.  This was so helpful in trying to recover or at least have some energy to care for the girls. While I had one week of no vomiting, it was short lived and it all returned back to my pregnancy "norm". I did enjoy it while it lasted. I have found that turkey sandwiches are yum, but for some reason I just can't have a sandwich without chips. I really like the BBQ fritos and Maui Onion potato chips.

26 Weeks, 5 days
Weight: 155 pounds
Total Weight gain: 20 pounds
Tummy Measurement: 26 inches
Had a regular check up.  From now on, I will be having check-ups every-other week.

Thursday, May 29, 2014
Did my glucose test and 2nd Ultra sound to test for placenta previa.

Wednesday, June 4, 2014
28 weeks, 4 days
Weight: 156.6 pounds
Total weight gain:21.6 pounds
Tummy measurement: 28 inches
A normal check-up. I was worried that I would have placenta previa, because I have a low laying placenta, which would require me to have a cesarian, as of now everything is normal and okay! What a relief.

30 weeks, 4 days
Weight: 159 pounds
Total weight gain: 24 pounds
Tummy measurement: 31 inches
Fastest check-up ever! Filled out paper work for hospital admissions.

32 Weeks 4 Days
Weight: 165 pounds
Total Weight gain: 30 pounds!
Had a quick and normal checkup. No complications, thank goodness.  We have been really blessed with healthy children thus far. The girls come with me to almost every checkup. I realized that I only had to throw up once this month, which is way different from my two daughter's. I am rediculously hot and literally need to go to the beach daily to cool down. We basically go when Hali'a wakes up from her morning nap around noon.

Wednesday, July 18, 2014
34 Weeks 4 days
Weight: 170 pounds
Total Weight gain: 35 pounds...yikes!
I weigh more now that I did with both Hali'a and Nanea, which I'm not too excited about. My vomiting has returned, which also sucks.  It is sooooo hot this summer that I'm really struggling to regulate my temperature. So, we go to the beach daily. Luckily we live 2 blocks away from it. This baby is very active (like the others were), but at least he's not kicking on my ribs like my last 2 pregnancies. I just feel very front heavy...my tummy sticks out so much. Lots of more stretchmarks, yuck! Still walking with the girls to Gunstock and back which takes me about an hour. It exhausts me for the rest of the day.

9 months 36 weeks and 1 day

July 30th (Wednesday)
36 weeks and 4 days
Weight: 168.5 pounds
Dilated: 1 cm
Had a quick appointment with the Dr. Moore. Baby is now head down.

August 6th
37 weeks and 4 days
Weight: 169 pounds
Dilation: 2cm
Got a regular check-up. Also had an ultra-sound to confirm that baby is head down, there's enough amniotic fluid. It's just a waiting game. I also got a massage at night from ward member Randy Rosa. It was so nice; however, I have more pressure now so I think that I may go in early!

August14th
 (38 weeks and 5 days)
Weight: 170.6 pounds
Dilation: "stretchy 3cm"
Dr. Said that she could strip my membranes if I wanted but I wasn't prepared for that so I didn't let her. Baby is looking to be around 7 pound range, smaller than our girls. She doesn't think that I'll make it to next weeks appointment which has us thinking about inducing because I am a lot farther than I was with the girls. I have to get antibiotics before I deliver baby and we're not sure if my water is going to break so yeah, we're waiting to hear back from dr to see if that's possible. We dropped off the girls last big with tutu just in case we do go in for delivery today (Saturday).

June

  • 5th (Thursday) sold our 2001 dodge Dakota truck that has served us so well. I had a much harder time parting with the truck, but it was time a we prepar for our son and need make sure that we can pay our bills! We also were invited for a random ku'i kalo party with the decaires', my cousin Ka'iulani and Kalei and other friends. It was a new scene for our family but the girls jumped right in and loved it.

  • 6th (Friday)We finally applied and were approved for a credit card with Captial One with just a $1000 limit. This is one of our goals: to build our credit for our future.
  • 7th (Saturday) Went to cousin Kanekoa Crabbe's wedding.  The Tueller's watched the girls for us since they were not welcome.d
  • 11th-14th (Wednesday-Saturday) Jason completed a summer school class (3 credits). I stayed with the girls in Mililani while he stayed with Kimo DeCaires in town as to avoid traffic and to be able to just focus on completing the course with an A+!
  • 14th (Saturday) We had to get new tires for our van. An unfortunate unexpected bill. I went to Windward Mall with the girls while we waited for the fix.
  • 15th (Sunday) Happy Fathers day for daddy! Nanea made him a plumeria lei to wear at church and we just spent nice quality time with him.  She's really good at it already. She knows exactly what to do all by herself and wouldn't even let mommy

  • 26th (Thursday) We went to the temple and performed intiatories while the girls played at the Tueller's house. They love that family! Also, we enjoyed a mini date of shave ice at the Kaka's.
  • 27th (Friday) Jason was interviewed and got the position to do his 2nd year Practicum at Queen Lili'uokalani Children Center in Kane'ohe.
  • 30th (Monday) We finally submit Jason's Kiwi Saver Application to cash in for it. It was an extensive process of trying to get all types of documents notarized, but we finally did it! Now we just have to wait for approval for everything to get processed.
