Nanea is 2! And she is loved just as much now than she was on the day she was born. Jason took the day off to spend with her and our family. He also decided to record Nanea throughout the day. This is how the day went:
Dr. appointment for Nanea and Hali'a
Kahuku Superette for poke bowl and musubi
Off to Ross's where she played in the toy isle until she was ready to leave. We didn't buy her anything there because we couldn't find what we were looking for.
Next stop, Walmart where she spent more time in the toy isles and had a hay day doing so. She was so happy and even skyped with grandma. We bought her a double sided easel chalkboard/whiteboard that we know she'll put to great use these coming years.
Tutu's house where she received a balloon and wheel backpack and played with her, while daddy slept and mommy made her chocolate cake and cupcakes for the night.
Back home for a nap
Had spaghetti for dinner (since she likes noodles)
She decorated her cake and cupcakes with sprinkles and we sang Happy birthday to her, and she ate!
We wanted to make sure that we just spent quality time with her and all day long she had time to talk with family who called to wish her Happy Birthday. She is definitely loved.
Nanea has grown up So much just within this month: her...
Vocabulary has doubled. One morning she woke up saying, "mommy, oh my gosh!" (putting her hand to her face) it was hillarious.
She says more verbs and pronouns now.
Absolutely love her baby 'a'a. When she wakes up, the first thing she says is, " baby sleeping."
She loves taking a bath with daddy which is more of a swimming session.
Continues to with Shrek daily and another favorite show from Netflix is backyardigans and the new one is bubble guppies.
Now that I'm home daily with her, we typically go out in the morning to some playground. She playes with almost anyone, but when no one is there, I call up kylie, aria, or Kaihe to play. I take lunchables for her since it's an easy grab and go snack/meal. She only likes to eat the luncheon meet and the snack it comes with.
She's getting more brave in the water. She kind of takes off and tries to swim by herself. She's getting better. I'm sure that by this summer she'll be swimming alone.
Songs she likes to sing are: popcorn popping, the wise mane build his house..., patty cake, spider, wiggles-everybody clap, everybody sing falalala...!

March
*1st (Friday) after QLCC not accepting his application, Jason was able to reapply for the position. Now it's just another waiting game.
*2nd (Saturday) The car's trunk was fixed.
*4th (Monday) finished our FAFSA paperwork for scholarships.
*8th (Friday) we went to the temple to do initiatories while our neighbor watched the girls.
*23rd (Saturday) happy Easter egg hunting with tutu in Mililani 2nd ward. Nanea decorated her bag, a cupcake and hunted eggs...and ate a lot of chocolate. Hali'a slept.

Hali'a 2 months
Weight: 14 pounds 4 ounces
Length: 23.75 inches
My weight: 150.8 pounds (15.8 to left to loose)
Hali'a has almost doubled in size. She's a very healthy eater. We learned from Nanea that we needed to introduce the bottle to her earlier just so that if we ever needed anyone to watch her, they would be able to feed here, but I honestly think that she loves eating so much that it doesn't matter how the milk comes to her.
She is very gassy and takes a while to be burped. Jason is much more patient with that than I am. I just wait for one burbs and think she's finished.
Our night schedule is pretty good. She goes to sleep around 9:30pm and doesn't wake up until 4 sometimes 5am. Since that's a while I sometimes have to wake up to pump.
She sleeps better and longer on her tummy, which I only let her do during the day. Otherwise I wrap her with her arms out and sleep like that through the hight with her arms a over her head.
Hali'a loves her sister. It's interesting how smart babies are because she knows who mommy, daddy and sister are already.
She is staying up more and is more observant. She is more expressive and talking more.
Hali'a has adjusted to being going on a run with mommy and Nanea. I usually feed her, then swaddle her, and put her in the bottom stroller seat where she falls asleep or sight see's on our run.
*23rd-we took her to the dr because she's congested and has no voice. He said that she's okay and just needs to get salt drops in her nose to help clear her out.
*5th- took her the ocean for a swim and she absolutely lived it. It was cold, but that didn't bother her at all. She'll be another fish like the rest of her family.
