September

*This month, after much considerations of our school schedule's and the influence of my sister and Sanoe, I finally decided to try out a dinner calendar for the month.  To my surprise, not  Jason's, I can actually cook more than a month's worth of dinners.
*5th (Wednesday)- Jason's friend, RJ, is in town for holiday and staying with us for a little while. She lived in Temple View and came to school here at BYUH for a while with Jason.  They've been going around and having fun at the beach and all over.
Nothing like a Kahuku Grill Burger!

*10th (Monday) Jason started his last semester here at BYUH.  He's picked up 2 classes to receive a Minor in Sociology, taking Religion, English 315, P.E. at 6am and a beginning photography class.  It should be a pretty good semester. After all, we both only need to pass our classes and we'll be walking at graduation! Check out his blog where he posts his photos:
*15th (Saturday) Cousin Auli'i's 1st birthday lu'au. Nanea had a blast riding the pony, jumping in the blow up castle and we got individual digitoons! I don't think that it really looks like us, but it was still interesting. We got full off of good Hawaiian food.
Family day at TVA.  This was Jason's booth! Everyone wanted a go at it at was determined to knock him off!
*21st (Friday) Received approval for child care assistance.  Ashlee and Hanalei are looking after Nanea, Monday and Wednesday, while Sina and her 2 children (our neighbors) watch after her on Tuesday and Thursday.  We are so bless for help especially because we know that they look after her as one of their own.
*29th-30th (Friday-Saturday)-It was Nanea's first sleep over at Tutu's house without Jason and me.  I asked my mother to watch her so that we could get some studies done for exams coming up.  Jason and I didn't know how to act. I think I had more withdrawls than Nanea as I found myself really missing her as the day progressed.  We went to dinner together eating Pizza Hut, then came home.  Jason crashed while I basically could not sleep as I worried and missed her. I was restless. We went to temple Saturday morning to find that it was closed due to the RS General Conference Broadcast.  So, we went to the Visitors Center to watch a documentary of our Prophet Thomas S. Monson.  I picked nanea up after at the Haleiwa fishponds.

Nanea 18 months

Weight: 23 pounds
Height: 31 inches
Nanea...
*had her 18 month Dentist appointment and all was well. She let them brush and give her fluoride.  We need to rememeber to dilute juices and minimize the sweet stuff.  I think that since's she's part Kiwi, it's inevitable she's got a sweet tooth.
*understands soooo much and especially what we say like: say prayers, take a bath, bruth your teeth, put it back, put your clothes on, wait, I'm coming back, where's daddy...go get him, throw that away, etc. We really have to watch what we say and do now.
*has more attitude.  Knows what she wants and doesn't want.
*eats more things other than her standard rice and has kind of grown out of the cup of noodles.  She actually like the soup/broth more now.
*loves to eat corn dogs
*loves dogs too!
*is now watched by Aunty Ash and Hanalei on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Now that they moved to town, it's perfect because we get to see them and spend some time with them.  And, Jason and I can rest assure that Nanea is in very good company and care.
*Aunty Sina Hingano watches her on Tuesday and Thursday while Jason's at his photography class.
*She's starting to tell that baby is in my tummy.
*up bright and early in the morning to yell to her DeCaires Cousin's "hi" while they head off to school.
*enjoys playing with our neighbors.
*can officially go to nursery, a moment we've both been anxiously anticipating, yet it's taking her a while to competely warm up.  Since we're now the Sunbeam teachers, she likes coming to Primary class with us and the kids.  She's actually more behaved than half of the class.
At work with daddy

Sick with a fever and helpless
Noodles will cheer her up
