Happy 27th Birthday

This year my birthday was celebrated a little early, 1 day actually, because on the 16th we found out that baby #2 is on its way!  There's not much that could top that news.  I spent the day with Nanea, Ashlee made me lunch and Nanea had her first home visit with Aunty Linda who will be working with us 2 times a week on Nanea's child development. We celebrated with dinner at Kahuku Grill...mmm! It's one of our favorite places to eat.
We went on a walk too.  My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. I love seeing my daughter and husband happy!

Mother's Days!

We celebrated Mother's Day a day early, Saturday.
*Jason and I went to the temple this morning to do initiatories.
*Jase then got me a 1 hour massage from Kaniela Kalama's brother for $40.  It was much needed.  My back is messed up.
*We were able to with mommies in NZ a happy day too.
*We went to Castle's for a little while so Jase and Nanea could get in the water.  Just seeing my husband and my baby happy make and bring me Happy!  So it was a very happy day.
*We went to Mililani to have dinner with Mom and Pi'i. We had salad, rice, salmon, 'opakapaka (another type of fish) and strawberry shortcake desert. Nanea kept them entertained with a bath in their sink (as always which she loves) and her laps of walking from one couch to the other. She is now very intrigued with the stairs so we had to move the couch to block it (like we did with Taniora).
Sunday...
*Left mom's house early to make it back to 8am church.  I received a calling to be the Relief Society Secretary.
*At church, Jason (and the Elders Quorum) gave us a flower pot! I've got no green thumb, but will have to learn.  I hope my flower lives!

School Pau! Aloha Summer!

Today it's official.  I turned in my last exam this morning. Now I am on summer break for 3 months! Rather than taking on an internship, Jason is and I will be spending time with Nanea. We will be doing many things. I want to take her out and about with other kids and to experience different things for positive stimulation.  Today, we started with a simple trip to Windward Mall to play on the indoor playground.  She's officially walking on her own which means I've got to run after her...fun! We ran in to 2 of my high school friends, Megan and Caleb Spencer, who also have kids.  We will have play dates with them.  Here are some pix and video's of our day with many more to come!
She played and ate leftover chicken and rice on this for a good 20 minutes.  She also waved at the train that passed by.

We also spent time as a family at the beach.

Pounder's Round Up Competition

Jason enter the competition again. They did a beach clean-up the weekend before the competition. This year he was also responsible for taking photo's.  Unfortunately, when his heat came up, the boys entered, but they did not sound the starting horn for the heat.  Jase and the other guys were just mucking around. When a horn finally sounded, they thought it was the start, but his heat actually finished.  So, he didn't make it out of the heat.
