Early Christmas!

Today we picked up a suitcase from Kris' friend on her way to Maui. Our Christmas gifts came in from New Zealand! There were so many things: bathroom mats, bed set, family ornaments from mum, treasure box for Nanea, Christmas tea towels, Christmas bear, Santa hat and bib, cool star light from lee, pictures, tons of clothes for Nanea including very cute dresses, wheat bix and other food and lollies! We got inspired to get a little festive. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

PCC and More!!!

*19th (Saturday)-Nanea went to PCC with Taniora, Aunty Keao and Aunty Hillary. They get along so well you can definitely tell they're cousins. Then we had a Thanksgiving dinner with Aunty Gwen and Aunty Elsie's 'ohana.

*20th (Sunday)-Church with Tutu in new outfit from the swap-meet.

*21th (Monday)-Last day with the Daniel's meant last day for time with Tutu and Taniora at the Honolulu Zoo, Kaimana beach and Walmart shopping.

8 months

Nanea is growing too fast! She...

*is so full of expression and definitely has a personality of her own

*loves interacting with other babies.

*is more vocal and starts singing especially when Hawaiian music is on.

*talks to us all the time...bwa bwa bwa bwa...it's so cute!

*is much better at tummy time...NOT

*has the biggest smile and really likes to spend time with other people (even though she definitely knows who mommy and daddy are).

*has more attitude. When she wants to be held, all of TVA will know!

*loves photo booth time with daddy!

*can creep forward (crawlish) when on the bed and rolls around heaps.

*is very timely with her bed-time routine:7ish bath, put on pj's, read a book, feed, sleep with blanket on her face.

*now knows her Aunty Keao and cousin Taniora!

New Body Board

After much debate, Jason finally bought another bodyboard from Amazon.com. But, it wasn't what he expected. Luckily it was from town so I went to exchange it for this board. It's different according to Jase so it'll take a while to get used to.

Keao has been watching Nanea and Taniora for us every day. Today, I got to take him. We played on the playground and played on photobooth!

We got together with the DeCaires' and Fruen's this Stake Conference this Sunday. Thank goodness we don't do this every week because we leave more than stuffed. This time, we made chinese chicken salad, rice and oreo desserts. Mom and Pi'i brought more desserts, banana cake and Keao made brownies. Ummm...I'm getting hungry again just talking about it.

Our ward is playing in Intramural VB. We've been going to support. Taniora had a blast running around and cheering.

Oma'ima'i

Nothing like a 4:30am wakeup to a vomiting baby! Nanea is not feeling too well. We think another tooth may be coming in. Fever + vomiting = unhappy baby. Thank goodness cousin Taniora and Aunty Keao are here to entertain her. Mommy stayed home from school. I love being home with her. It's times like these when I just want to stop going to school all together and spend every minute with my husband and my princess.

Happy Halloween!

We had the best time with our last minute costume collaboration. After going to Savers and seeing the blue poochie wig, we were determined to dress Nanea and Taniora as Thing 1 and Thing 2. We joined in with make shift Cat-in-the-Hat outfits out of paper, streamers, staples and a white shirt. I love low budget, last minute costumes. Jase dressed up with a scary black cape and mask. We went trick-or-treating in the community. They actually kept their wigs on!
