* 4th (Thursday) Temple open house with Mom and Pi'i. They brought us some house warming gifts like katsup, baking pans, vienna sausage, etc.
* 14th (Saturday) Temple open house with my friend, Bert.
*20th (Saturday)-After doing our community service at the Loko ea in Haleiwa, we went to 'Aulani's 2 yr old birthday party in Waianae (she's Leisha's daughter). We enjoyed food, swimming out to her grandpa's boat, jumping off, beach vb pepper, balloon toss and shave ice!
*21st (Sunday)-Finally, the La'ie Temple dedication! We attended the 1st of 3 sessions here at our TVA Stake center. It was a beautiful session. We were blessed to hear from Elder Walker (of the 70), Elder Cook (of the 12 Apostles), President Eyring (1st Counselor) and from President Thomas S. Monson. The spirit was so strong we left with a spirit more motivated to be grateful for the true gospel, to serve others through missionary work with family history and a desire to attend the temple regularly. We are so grateful to have a living prophet who leads and guides us in these latter days and to live right besides His holy house!
*24th (Wednesday) Early Christmas present...Jase got a new camera!!! And, we talked to Smith whanau on skype as they had their Thanksgiving dinner. It was nice to see new haircuts, grown-up moko, family and really delicious food (so we were told)!
*25th (Thursday)-Happy Thanksgiving! We had a Thanksgiving lunch with our ward (since there were no homeless to feed) then we went to dinner with Mom and Pi'i. We stuffed our face with cornish blue hen, wild rice, potato salad, corn, pumpkin crunch, and hagendaz ice cream! Mmm! We then went to WalMart at 10pm just to check out the Black Friday Sales. People were already standing in line to buy their products they could only purchase at 5pm.
*26th (Friday) Black Friday...got up at 1am and went to Waikele Shopping Center. We bought some clothes at Local Motion, but not much. We were more there for the "spirit" of shopping rather than spending. It was more like "site seeing" than anything. We're grateful for all of the things that we have and even more grateful that we can recognize the fact that we don't need anything else. We're happy!
*27th (Saturday) After a long day, we came home to find that our neighbors gave us their TV, since they got their 42'' flat-screen from Walmart. What a blessing!
