*1st (Wednesday)- We finally sold our 2001 Dodge Neon to a couple at TVA. It went for only $1000. We didn't loose out on anything really. It served its purpose and now it's gone! Problems we no longer have to deal with:-trouble starting
-unlocking the door from the boot
-no a/c
-getting safety check
-replacing the water tank for the windshield wipers
I also received our first refund check for the KamehamehaScholarship that I got for attending UH. Hello to $2700!!! We're anxiously waiting Jase's for BYU.
*2nd (Thursday)- Aloha WIC!!! We had our first interview with WIC where we now receive 4 paychecks for food every month for having our baby! It's another blessing we've received and were really lucky to have one of my best friends, Randi (aka. Shorty), there to expedite the process. It's a blessing to be poor, sometimes!
*8th-11th (Wed-Sat) Jase was reunited with NZ friends and ex-co-workers at Mahitahi as they came over for Healing Our Spirits Worldwide Conference at the Honolulu Convention Center. We attended the event and Jase took Tuhakia and his cousins around the island: Sandy Beach, Costco, Waimea Rock and in Waikiki.
*11th (Saturday) As requested by Tash back home, Jase hooked IMTV with an interview of Jackson Kaka and his 'ohana. They went up to Laie point to jump of, went for lunch at L&L and then to PCC. Thanks to Tash, Jase and I got hooked up with t-shirts and tomato sauce!
It was really nice to see Jase have some fun with the NZ boyz and family. I know he enjoyed it!
* (Tuesday) Aloha TVA! After several months of harrassing the BYU housing departments, we finally got an opening. We moved into our 1 bedroom apartments in R-265!!! For just $670/month, with everything included, it's the best deal in town. And, after garage sale shopping, Salvation Army and Ross, it finally feels like home! Oh, and we scored a king size bed complements of Turtle Bay for only 75 bucks! We're finally on our own! Just in time f

* (Wednesday) Jase's 1st day of Fall Semester! He's taking 12 credits, Psychology, Social Welfare, English, Math and Gym. What's even better is that he also received Pell Grant and Kamehameha Scholarship, which paid for tuition and basically ALL of our housing! Wow, we're really blessed.
* 30th (Monday)-I met up with my teammate from Pepperdine, Ashley, and her baby! Its been 3 years since the last time we played together. She was a DS as was I. We met up at Ala Moana.
