*4th (Sunday) After 3 months of being in the La'ie 7th Ward, we have been called and set apart to be Primary Workers teaching the Valient 10 year old class. We will definitely learn more about each other, the children and the gospel which will prepare us for our future.
*6th (Tuesday) Back to school at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I'm taking my first official Civil Engineering course, CEE 270, with Professor Grace at 7:30am everyday. After 4 years away from the books, this will be a very harsh transition to the student life. Thank goodness I received a scholarship, which pays for
the tuition, dorm, 2 meals a day, and upon completion a $1000 stipend!
* Played some vb with Uncle Elgin
Calles and Bronson at the vacation house here in La'ie.
* 16th/17th (Fri/Sat) Spent time with the New Zealand Navy watching the rugby game vs. South Africa and at La'ie part where lots of kiwi's came out to play some touch and net ball.
* 22nd (Thursday) Back to School for Jase at BYU. He's taking Math, Religion and History classes everyday!
*30th (Sat) Wedding of long time kiwi friends, Jenna and Dave. They were married on the beach at Uncle Hyran's and then had a reception/potluck at Hukilau beach. Jase was responsible for providing the sound system, which worked out perfectly! They're a beautiful couple and Jase really enjoyed catching up with long time family friends, the Katene's.
