*We've had to adjust to living with my family in Mililani. It's definitely not a permanent move, but we're grateful to my mother for letting us stay there.
*3rd- I got hired to work full-time for the Census out of Waianae. With good pay, flexible hours, and paid travel. It has been a blessing.
*I made my first meal for Jase, kalua pig and cabbage!
* 10th-We celebrated the life of Vera Lani Kapu Makaea Aina Kamekona Rose, my Great Grandmother. After living a full life of 98 years, her spirit is now free with her husband in the heavens. There I met family friends from Keaukaha: Irene Midel Silva and Elizaeth Kapamau Sanborn

*15th- Happy birthday to Lian!!! We called while she was at work, probably got her busted! Oops! Sorry Lee...NOT! Our birthday gift was Jason started work renovating a bathroom with Bronson in Aiea. I also ran the 8.2 mile Great Aloha Run in 1:08hrs then walked with mom and Pi'i!
* We got a CAR!!! Finally!!! We bought a 1999 Honda Civic Ex off of craigslist. It's been great! We can finally go where we want to, when we want. And, the surfboard fits in the car!
*27th-TSUNAMI! With calls as 2am from Mahi and other concerned family and friends, we are happy to say that Hawaii is okay. After the earth quake in Chile, Hawaii was warned at 8:30pm about the tsunami and to prepare for the following day when it would hit Honolulu at 11:37am. Keao, Bronson and I went to Safeway to buy water and then took the cars to fill up on gas at 3am. Yet, I guess we weren't all too worried because we went to breakfast with Mom and Pii at Big City diner, Waipio. Then, after watching the Tsunami on TV, just changing currents in the water, Jase and I went surfing in Waikiki. Surf was good!
